To reach this secluded site, one must travel approximately 27 km from Kharagpur along the State Highway toward Keshiari. From Keshiari, a left turn toward Belda leads to Kukai, a village junction situated about 2 km away. At Kukai, a right turn onto a rustic “kutcha” (mud) road takes you another 2 km into Gaganeshwar village, where the fort awaits.
Despite its official recognition and architectural intrigue, the local populace remains largely unaware of its historical significance.
